All the children loved to sit on the Easter bunnies legs. Isis wasn't to crazy about it at first but was okay.

Merlin Scouts

I was called last month to be the new Wolf leader. In our ward we have combined the Wolves and Bears into one meeting.

When the boys do enough achievements to earn their beads, I have fun. My boys have to eat for their beads.

Merlin was the first to eat for his bead. The requirements are no hands and not to swallow the bead.

Swim Test

In April Merlin and Demetrius did a swim test to see where they are at.

Merlin needs to work on his strokes.

Demetrius is doing very well. His hardest part is talking to the instructors.

Pinewood Derby

Merlin had his pinewood derby on March 28,09. David helped him cut his car and paint it. It so fun to watch David and Merlin spend time together. He did win a certificate for the Best HOT rod. They had a 3 lane track hooked up to a laptop and projected on a screen. All the boys seemed to have a good time.

Discover Scuba Charity & Kevin

Sat. March 21 Charity & Kevin got to do a semi private Discover Scuba with our teacher Andy at Sports Chalet. Charity took right to it. Andy said she looked like she was a dolphin. Which she can't wait to do. Kevin had some problems with his ears but once he changed to a different mask everything was fine. David and I was with them. We had fun playing with the torpedos.

Open Water Scuba Certified on March 1, 2009

David and I got to take scuba classes for 2 weekends in a row. It was alot of work trying to read and take the quizes in 1 week. David did not have any problems doing it. I struggled a little. I really enjoyed spending the extra time with David. Our instructor Andy made class fun and exciting. I can't wait til we do the specialty dives. Below are a few pictures right after we were certified.
